Prevites was always a favorite stop of mine when I went to Quincy. They have THE BEST MEAT around.
Their chicken is to die for. I know, how can you get excited about chicken? but for some reason it is better and moister than anything you can get at a market. I asked them why and they said that they buy only select grade “A” chicken.
It doesn’t stop there, the meats are cut fresh and the butchers are professional and very helpful. These guy’s are a riot. They have fun with you and always leave you laughing. They are more than an act. They know their meat!!!

You need to buy the two pound bone in rib eye’s. Grab some of their ribeye seasoning, and do a little rub. Then sear each side, and set it aside on the top rack of the grill or in the oven. This will be the best thing you ever ate.

Mention ” The Monty Minute” when you talk to the butcher. They will stand on their head for you.
Oh ya! come hungry and stay for lunch or dinner. The eat in food is awesome. Huge hot dishes, fresh cold cuts, huge subs and even salads. Grab your food and drink and head out to the lobby for lunch at the cafe.
If you are still hungry and I promise you cannot be, walk next door to Fratelli’s bakery for a cannoli or a pastry.
I almost forgot, the new Fish section is as fresh as their meats. Unless you stood at the boat docks, you cannot get any fresher fish.
Take my word for it. Buy your canned goods at Stop & Shop and get your meats and fish at Previte’s

Two ciritcal issues with Previte’s – closes at 4 pm on Saturday, and closed ALL day on Sunday. I can’t tell you how much business they’ve lost because of their limited weekend schedule.
Here’s an idea Previte’s – close Monday, open for half a day Sunday, and keep open Saturday until 6 pm. You’ll make a ton of money. That way I don’t have to keep going to the Hilltop butcher shop – which isn’t even in the same league…

I know. I love the place, and i keep telling them weekly that they need a website. I get around 500 hits to my website a month. Imagine what their business would be like if i hated the place and slammed it on the web. 6000 people a year would not go.
Remember the BLUE LAW’s? While I respect the Family First on Sunday theme, Sunday is still family first but it involves stores being available for familes to gather the goods to make a nice day.
Please open on Sunday and close on Monday,
Close at 4pm on Saturday ?????? , Sunday I can see but closing 6pm on Saturday would help a lot
You can get Prevites at Trucchis! There are sales adds on Wednesdays in the patriot ledger!!
